TUSCUMBIA-TVAA started the Winter Art Market in 2020 to help artists who had lost income due to canceled festivals and exhibitions. Artists ship or drop off their artwork, and we collaborate with them to set up attractive beautiful booth spaces throughout our museum. Our staff handles publicity and sales, as people shop during musuem hours througout the holiday shopping season.

TVAA grossed over $26,000 in sales the first year (during the height of the pandemic) and $40,000 our second year. This event is developing a stellar reputation regionally for its consistency of quality and the varied styles, media, and price points of the artwork. We would love to have you be part of our continued growth.

The Winter Art Market features unique, high quality, handmade items in a wide variety of media. We feel that maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and quality is key to the continued success of this market. Previously, we have represented artists producing works in painting, photography, ceramics, fibers, wood, glass, jewelry, printmaking, etc. We also have offered artisan handmade candles, soaps, and other artisan good in a separate ‘Mercantile’ area.

Fees: There are no fees to apply and no booth fees. Our commission is 25% of all sales. You simply price your artwork with this commission in mind.
