FLORENCE, Ala. – Traffic across Wilson Dam on State Highway 133 near Florence, Ala. will be closed for several hours on Thursday, July 26.
The closure will be in effect that day from 8 a.m. CDT to approximately 2 p.m. CDT to allow workers to move equipment to the lock.
In the event of inclement weather, the work may be extended or rescheduled. Motorists should expect delays and may want to consider another route. Signage will be placed on both sides of the bridge and gates will be in place.
