TENNESSEE VALLEY-TVA hosted the first ever Valley-wide Bring Your Daughter to Work Day in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Memphis and Tupelo on Friday, April 19. The girls, ranging from ages 8 to 18 were introduced to jobs at TVA through career fairs, heard from women in leadership and had the opportunity to participate in a variety of hands on activities and plant tours.
TVA’s Women Empowered group planned the event and were pleased that more than 300 girls were able to participate at TVA locations across the Valley.
