TVA Board of Directors to Hold In-Person Meeting in Young Harris, Georgia

KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors invites the public to join them as they conduct their quarterly business meeting at the Rollins Campus Center at Young Harris College, 1 College Street, in Young Harris, Ga., on May 11, at 9 a.m. ET. The meeting will also be webstreamed live.

 

A public listening session will be held on May 10, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. ET at the Rollins Campus Center. The public is encouraged to participate either by submitting written comments online in advance or by attending in person.

 

The Board meeting agenda, as well as details on signing up to participate in the listening session will be posted on the Board’s webpage on May 4 by 5 p.m. ET. The live webstream of the Board meeting will also be available on the Board’s webpage, beginning a few minutes before 9 a.m. ET on May 11.

 

TVA continues to monitor the ongoing public health and safety concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, no specific COVID-related capacity restrictions or safety precautions are expected for those attending the Young Harris events in person. Those feeling ill are encouraged to participate by submitting written comments for the listening session or viewing the live webstream of the Board meeting.
