Tuscumbia Woman Dies From Injuries Received Single-Vehicle Crash

TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Colbert County has taken the life of a Tuscumbia woman:

“A single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. Sunday, May 24 has claimed the life of a Tuscumbia woman.

Lisa Foster, 66, of Tuscumbia, was fatally injured when the 2016 Ford F 150 she was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole, several trees, and overturned.

Foster was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 247 near the 24 mile-marker, approximately six miles west of Tuscumbia, in Colbert County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
