TUSCUMBIA-Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan released a statement concerning a fatal shooting that took place on Tuesday involving a police officer after a call to a residence domestic call had been made:“At approximately 7:45 pm, Tuesday, April 18 a Tuscumbia Police Officer was involved in a fatal officer involved shooting. The shooting took place at 117 Walker Avenue in Tuscumbia. A 63 year old white male at the residence passed away of a gunshot wound.
The ALEA State Bureau of Investigation is in charge of the case. The officer involved has been placed on Administrative Leave With Pay.” ~Tony Logan
