FLORENCE-The shooting that took place on Sunday night, February 1st resulting in a woman being treated at ECM Hospital has a suspect under arrest. Here is what the Florence Police Department has to say about the shooting:
“A Tuscumbia man has been charged with Attempted Murder in Sunday shooting. Florence Police, assisted by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Lauderdale County DA’s Office, have arrested Gerald Lee Crittenden, 24, of Tuscumbia and charged him with Attempted Murder. Crittenden is accused of shooting a female inside a west Florence apartment early Sunday night. Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute between the two.
The female is recovering from her injuries at Huntsville Hospital.
