Tuscumbia Man Arrested With 18 Pounds Of cocaine In Muscle Shoals

MUSCLE SHOALS-On Friday, February 28 a Tuscumbia man was arrested in Muscle Shoals by the ALEA Drug Task Force after ALEA received a tip that a large amount of cocaine was being delivered to an address in Muscle Shoals.

Terrell Clayton Brown, 50 of Tuscumbia was arrested after a search of his vehicle authorities discovered 18 pounds of cocaine, one of largest amounts ever found in Colbert County.

Agents say Brown arrived at the location with several ounces of cocaine in the passenger side of his vehicle. When they searched his vehicle they discovered 18 pounds of cocaine in his trunk, worth about $800,000 which amounts to around 8,000 uses of the drug.

Brow was arrested and taken to the Colbert County Jail where he posted $15,000 bond on Saturday and was released from jail.
