TUSCUMBIA-Frank Williamson, Colbert County Sheriff issued a press release concerning a search warrant and the arrest of a suspect on Animal Cruelty charges:
“On June 17, 2022 Colbert County Sheriff’s Office and Colbert County Animal Control served a search warrant at 1760 Underwood Mtn Road, Tuscumbia Al.
A total of 18 dogs and two cats were seized.
Jason Foster of Tuscumbia Alabama was arrested and charged with Animal Cruelty 1st. He is in Colbert County jail on a $15000 bond.
Also on June 13, 2022 15 dogs were seized from this same residence that were being kept under very bad conditions. They all were malnourished and needing medical attention.
More charges are expected. I would like to say “Thank You” to Corey Speegle and his crew for helping us with this situation.
Added to the above charges will be the charge of Felony Giving False Information To A Police Officer. Bond for this charge has not been set~ Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson”
