The suspect, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall and thin, was wearing a ski mask, khaki pants, white Converse-type shoes and a long-sleeve shirt or jacket with an Aztec design when he shot Tupelo, Miss., police Cpl. Gale Stauffer at about 3 p.m. Monday a couple of blocks from the bank as the officer responded to the robbery. He remained at large Tuesday evening, and others also may be involved in the crime.
