Mr. Truman Neil Lyons, age 71 of Centre, passed away Monday May 30th at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1:PM Thursday at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1: PM Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Dedra Robertson of Centre; brother, Clifford Lyons of Fort Payne; sisters, Debby Jenkins of Gadsden, Dene Samples of North Carolina; grandchildren, Ben (Cherish) Morris, Neil (Jennifer) Golden; great-grandchildren, Carson Morris and Kaiser Morris; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Howell Lyons.
Mr. Lyons is a native of Dekalb County, the son of the late Samuel Green and Lola Mae Casey Lyons, was a former owner of Midway Variety and was of the Baptist faith
