Truman Dee Milwee, 97 of Arab passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Marshall Medical Center North. Truman was born January 15, 1926, in the Rodentown Community of Dekalb County the eldest child of Willie Esmy Milwee and Lola Estelle Major Milwee. He was a graduate of Crossville High School, was honorably discharged from the US Army and was retired from Redstone Arsenal. He was a member of the Arab First Baptist Church and was married to Joyce Bartlett Milwee who passed away March 9, 2001.
He is survived by his children: Tim Milwee (Robert Carmack), Lisa Milwee and Pam Cantrell (Kim); grandson: David Cantrell; sister: Fay Davis; host of nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Joyce Milwee, parents: Esmy and Estelle Milwee, siblings: Joline Costner, Marian Head and Marlin Milwee.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Mark Milwee officiating. The burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
