Trudy Lynn McCullough Jamison, 76, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Sunshine Healthcare in Pontotoc. Born on October 7, 1949, in Chickasaw County to William Delbert “Billy” and Louise Haynes McCullough, she spent most of her life working in the furniture industry. Trudy had a passion for cooking for her family and was always ready to help anyone in need. Before her health declined, she enjoyed sitting with and caring for others who needed her. Her love for family and friends ran deep, and she always greeted everyone with a hug and a smile.
She is survived by her two sons, Bryan Jamison Jr. and Brent Jamison (Paige); her daughter, Earlesia Nowlin Shephard (Cedric) of Houston, TX; her five grandchildren, Dustin Jamison (Crystal), Derek Jamison (Chelsey), Haley Jamison, Brianna Jamison, and Kole Shephard of Houston, TX; her sisters, Nancy Inmon (David), Monna Holcomb, and Sue Hall (Denny); her brother, Tom McCullough; and many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Louise McCullough, her dear friend Harvey Young, and her grandson, Bralyn Jamison.
Funeral services are set for Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 12 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Houlka, MS, with Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 PM, and again Thursday morning from 11 AM until the service begins. Burial will follow at Halsell Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Chris Jamison, Dustin Jamison, Derek Jamison, Haley Jamison, Brianna Jamison, and Bart Inmon.
