Troy Odell Hemric,78, of Florence, passed away, Friday, January 10, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, January, 16, 2025 from Noon until 2:00 PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will follow with with Reggie Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery.
He was a member of the UAW Local 599 and worked for General Motors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ethel Hemric; sisters, Lucille Pinnix, Annie Wagoner, Pearl Brooks, Nellie Sue Mathis; brothers, James Hemric, Garvey Hemric, Clyde Hemric, Roy Hemric, and Howard Hemric.
Pallbearers will be Steve Hemric, Dalton Jr Woods, Nick Olivo, James Booth, James McCreless, and Jackson Freeman.
Troy is survived by his wife Margaret Hemric; son, Steven Hemric; granddaughter, Mali Hemric, daughter-in-law, Joy Teh.
