Troy Michael Carter, born March 30, 1973, of Lawrenceburg, passed away September 25, 2021, at the age of 48. He was a bricklayer by trade. Troy is survived by his parents James and Jean Carter of West Point; sisters Annette Glover of Lawrenceburg, Tonya Carter of Texas, Tara Gibson of Columbia, TN; one brother Randy Sisson (Kim) of West Point; aunt Virginia Namie of Michigan; three nieces Megan Goshert (Jerry) of Lawrenceburg, Catherine Horton (Nick) of Lawrenceburg, and Macie Glover, Lawrenceburg; one nephew Derick Sisson of West Point; cousins, Michael Namie of Michigan, and Shelley Namie of Michigan.
A private graveside service will be held for Troy at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover funeral expenses may be made at First Volunteer Bank to the Troy Carter Memorial Fund.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
