Troy Edwin Plunk – Obituary

Troy Edwin Plunk, 83 of Billerica, Massachusetts passed away on January 16, 2019. He was born, November 27, 1935 in Henderson, TN. to the late Troy Elvis and Emma Jane (Hurt) Plunk. Five sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Plunk of Bethel Springs, Tn. and two granddaughters, Jessica Van Dusen and her husband Jon of Finger, TN. Noelle Driscoll and her fiancée John Holcomb of Billerica, MA. He is also survived by a Sister Peggy Brotherton of NC and a brother, Ralph Plunk and wife Camille of Il.

He attended Chester County High School and graduated from
Freed-Hardeman University. He received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Auburn University, Master’s Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in mathematics from Northeastern University.

He worked at Raytheon Company until his retirement. He then obtained his
Massachusetts real estate license and worked for Dick Lepine Real Estate, in Lowell, MA. for twenty years.

He loved skiing, golfing fishing and spending time with his family. He always had a contagious smile and was a great father, grandfather, brother and friend. We will miss you!
