Mr. Troy Edward Chesnut age 91 of Cedar Bluff passed away Wednesday March 25th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Chesnut will be 3: PM Saturday March 28th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Reese and Rev. Wayne Killian officiating. Burial will follow at Tuckers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1: PM until the hour of the funeral.
Mr. Chesnut’s family will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Chesnut is survived by his wife Jean Anderson Chesnut, son; Sammy E. and wife Jennifer Ganey Chesnut of Odenville, AL, sister; Nellie Chesnut Mitchell of Sand Rock, granddaughter; Lynsie Chesnut Guin, great-grandchildren; Daniel and Samuel Guin, Mason and Lilah Ganey, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Chesnut was preceded in death by his son; Tommy W. Chesnut, brothers; Glen, Frank, Clarence, Ted Chesnut, sisters; Mary Stallings, Hazel Stephens, Ada Brown.
Mr. Chesnut was a native of Cherokee County the son of the late Carl and Olena Hardin Chesnut and was a member of Tuckers Chapel Methodist Church.
