Funeral for Troy Charles Johnson, 77, of Trinity will be today, March 4, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jessie Reeder officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson, who died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Lawrence County Hospital, was born March 31, 1937, in Morgan County to Pearly A. and Mary Johnson. He was retired from Monsanto. He was a member of Moulton Baptist Church. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Boyles Johnson; two sons, Todd Johnson (Michelle) and Lane Johnson (April); two grandchildren, Garrett Johnson and Jayden Johnson; two stepgrandchildren, Kristiea Woodall and Jessica Pinkey; five stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Pruitt Johnson and Doug Johnson, both of Hartselle; and six sisters, Ruby Self of Hartselle, Lucille Nicholson of Phenix City, Lois Speakman of Decatur, Irene (Sonny) Dumas of Hartselle, Gwen Holmes of Hartselle and Dorothy Chambers of Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Johnson, Todd Johnson, Lane Johnson, Danny Nix, Scotty Speakman and Matt Holmes.
