Travis Everett Wallace, 86, of Florence, passed away March 11, 2015 at E.C.M. Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 11 – 12 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Eddie Wix officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with military funeral honors.
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Ned Everett and Mary Jewel Wallace.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Watkins Wallace; step-son, Todd Dutton (JoAnn); daughters, Lisa Wallace Baker (Bob) of Athens, AL, Jana Wallace, and Leigh Ann Wallace both of Florence; sister, Mary Magdalene Brewer of Florence; grandchildren, Katherine Baker of Birmingham, Will Baker of Tuscaloosa, Wynn Baker of Auburn, Gator Hanohano of Florence; step-grandchildren, Christina, Andy, and Joey Dutton.
Pallbearers will be Bob Baker, Will Baker, Wynn Baker, Gator Hanohano, Chris Montgomery, Phillip Bates, Ricky Brewer, and Todd Dutton.
