Travis Alton Rice, age 74 of Double Springs, passed away June 25, 2026 at his residence. He was born on July 16, 1951 to Alvin Travis and Donnie Edith Rice. Travis enjoyed going bowling, golfing, and watching his favorite TV shows, NCIS and Westerns. He was an avid Alabama football fan. Travis loved being at home and around his family. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 01, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Homes in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church in Double Springs. Travis is survived by his wife, Marilyn Rice; children, Mandy (Jeremy) Dooley, Katie (Jessie) Baldwin and Dustin (Ashley) Plemons; granddaughters, Heather Dooley, Marissa Dooley and Ricki Baldwin; and baby grandson on the way, Logan Baldwin.
