Funeral service for Tracey Maxwell, 46, of Somerville will be today, November 24, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at Somerville Baptist Church with the Reverend Wallace Bryant officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. There will be an extended visitation at Monster Tumbel & Cheer immediately following the graveside service.
Mrs. Maxwell, who was born on May 7, 1967 in Decatur, died on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. She was an accountant, attended Rock Creek Baptist Church, was very active in school activities, was a competition coach for All-Star Cheer and a very devoted mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Kelley Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Shayne Maxwell;one son, Noah Maxwell; and one daughter, Taylor Maxwell, all of Somerville; her father, Glenn Smith (Joyce) of Decatur; three sisters, Glenda Bryant (Wallace) of Decatur, Katrina Little (Billly) of Hartselle and Montez Brown of Danville.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Bryant, Billy Little, Eric Grimes, Steve Maxwell, Brett Maxwell, Roman Maxwell, Tucker Maxwell, Dwight Jones, Greg Jones and Joel Hannah.
