Tonya Sue Presley, 47, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, October 9, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Greg Beasley officiating. Interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Tonya attended Pride Baptist Church in Tuscumbia. She had an infectious laugh and a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a hand. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Nellie Mae Pounders, and Louis and Bulah Howard.
Tonya is survived by her son, Ronnie Lane Howard (Lauren); parents, Robert Jerry Howard (Shirley) and Mary Sue Howard Pounders; siblings, Robert Jerry Howard II (Pam) and Chasity Miranda Howard (Trey); grandchildren, Gracelyn Miranda Howard and Kelsey Kaye Howard; niece, Mackenzie Howard (Ryan); and nephews, Blake Howard, Blane Howard, Braylon Phillips, and Cameron Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Sam Howard, Anthony Sledge, Mike Inman, Trey Worley, Ryan Rikard, and Roger Presley. Darby Davis and Alton Ray Brooks Jr. will serve as honorary pallbearers.
