Tony Max Davis of Boaz, Alabama passed away at age 85 on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at Marshall Medical Center South.
His funeral will be Sunday, July 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Brothers Shane Stephens and Glenn Cornelius will officiate his service. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2. He will be laid to rest at New Macedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Cornelius, Tucker Davis, Tony Kendrick, Jarrod Roberts, Randy Fowler, and Shane Partee.
He was retired from Federal Mogul. In his earlier years, he travelled the US as a truck driver. He loved farming and raising animals, especially Bassett hounds.
He is survived by daughter Sherry (Glenn) Cornelius, son Michael (Stephanie) Davis, all of Boaz; grandchildren Jonathan (Melissa) Cornelius of Smyrna, TN, Tucker Davis and Makayla Davis, both of Boaz; nephew Tony (Susan) Kendrick; nieces Rhonda (Randy) Fowler and Beverly (Mack) Roberts.
He was preceded in death by the love of life his wife, Dorothy Carolyn Davis, and his parents, Ode and Sarah (Ferguson) Davis.
