Mr. Tony Jordan, age 76, of Lexington passed away on Tuesday May 23, 2023. Mr. Jordan was born on September 17,1946. He wife of 32 years Sheba Jordan and his parents W.A. Jordan and Alice Pearson Jordan Conger (James) preceded him in death. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1965. He then enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. After returning from war, he attended Freed Hardeman University graduating with a Engineering Degree. He worked as a nuclear engineer for TVA for 20 years then traveled working numerous nuclear power plants before deciding to return to Lexington. Mr. Jordan enjoyed numerous hobbies including, Nascar, fishing, hunting, golfing and camping. Mr. Jordan was a private pilot and enjoyed flying. Mr. Jordan was a member of The Broad Street Church of Christ and a member of the local Masonic lodge.
Mr. Jordan is survived by his son, John Jordan (Heather), daughter Brooke Britt (Jeremy) and seven grandchildren; Dylan, Dysan, Sydney, Sylas, Sawyer, Slayter and Shayne.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at Pafford Funeral Home from 10 AM until time of graveside service at 12PM at Lexington Cemetery.
