Tony Edward Crumby, Jr., age 44, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday, February 14th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10am until time of the service at 2pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Crumby was born August 2, 1979 in Linden, TN to Tony Edward Crumby Sr. and Mary Ellen Woods Crumby. He was a truck driver and a coach most of his life. Tony coached numerous boys and girls in the Greenbrier Community in football, baseball, basketball, and softball, on the Dixie Youth, Junior Pro, and Middle School level. He was a mentor, father figure, and coach to all the kids.
Mr. Crumby is preceded in death by his father, Tony Edward Crumby Sr.; brother, Jonathan Crumby; and a sister, Sheena Crumby.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Deanna Kittrell and her daughter Jayda; sons, Ethan Crumby, and Jackson Crumby; daughter, Juliet Crumby; mother, Mary Crumby; sister, Lindsey Nichole (Nick) Green; and nieces and nephews, Taylor, Brooklyn, Jasmine, Jayden, Josie, Dylan, James, and David.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier is in charge of these arrangements.
