Toney Ray Thompson, 61 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home.
Born Monday, February 4, 1952 in Ardmore, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Leon Thompson and the late Ruby Guley Thompson. He was a lifelong resident of Ardmore, Alabama and enjoyed gardening, spending time with the grandkids, and hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Henry and Carson Thompson, and a sister: Mary Jane Lewis.
Surviving are his wife: Carolyn Barnes Thompson of Ardmore, AL; daughters, Tammy Rudolph of Athens, AL, Toni & Rick Lewis of Ardmore, AL, and Darlene & Patrick Harbin of Ardmore, AL, brother, Bill Thompson of Ardmore, AL, sisters, Carolyn Foote of Huntsville, AL and Ann Honea of Fayetteville, TN, granddaughters: Kassie Ikard, Hannah Gladden, Shelby Rudolph, Madison Rudolph, Rachel Lewis, Stephanie Lewis, Mallorie Lewis, Erica Harbin, and Libby Rae Harbin, and grandsons: T.C. Gladden, Jessie Gladden, Justin Rudolph, Derrick Lewis, Trenton Lewis, Paxton Harbin, and Conner Harbin.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
