Toney Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Huntsville that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash at approximately 3:45 p.m. Sunday, May 9, has claimed the life of a Toney man.

David Ray Robinson, 30, was fatally injured when he lost control of the 2014 Dodge Dart he was driving, crossed the center line and then was struck by a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander in the passenger’s side door. Robinson was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Mitsubishi was injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Pulaski Pike near Opp Reynolds Road, approximately 10 miles north of Huntsville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
