Tommy Wright Gilley  Tommy Wright Gilley, 83,  passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Floyd “Tutt” Fann Veterans Home.  He was born November 25, 1941, in Belmont, Mississippi,  to Tommy W. Gilley and Irene Hathcock Gilley.

Mr. Gilley was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the Owner of the Cullman Ice House, a general contractor, the Owner and manager of Pop’s Mobile Homes in Decatur, prior to his retirement. He was a graduate of Cullman High School, and attended the University of Alabama. He was a loyal fan of all things Alabama, especially Crimson Tide Basketball.

During his retirement, Tommy and his wife, Dot, loved to search for the best antiques, owning a business for them, on Main Street in Hartselle, for many years.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Mitchell Gilley and his parents.

A Graveside  Memorial Service will be held in the Baileyton Cemetery 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 8, 2025.
