Tommy Newby, 73, of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Tommy graduated from S.R. Butler High School and completed his Bachelor of Science at Mississippi State University.
Survivors include his brother, Johnny Newby (Hank) of Tuscaloosa; his niece, Kimberly Hirschfield (Henry) of Holly Springs, GA; and his nephew, Stephen Newby.
Tommy was an avid fan of Alabama football. He loved nothing better than a day of fishing or gardening.
A graveside service was held for close family on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in Maple Hill Cemetery.
