Tommy Louis Brooks, 62, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. He was born in Kenosha, WI to Richard and Gladys Taylor Brooks. He worked for Winchester for many years and was a member of Fairview Holy Church of Christ. He loved Jesus, his family and was crazy about his grandchildren. Tommy never met a stranger and loved to talk.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 14, 1 p.m. at Fairview Holy Church of Christ with Bro. Wayne Bumgart and Bro. Doug Evans officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 6-9 p.m. at Fairview Holy Church of Christ. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Dobbs Brooks; his children, Tiffany Brooks (Brandon) and Kristen Long (Nathaniel); grandchildren, Mason and Bella Grace Long and Waylon and Taylor Good; sisters, Barbara Pitts (David), Sandy Wheeler (James), Vickey Ditto (Raymond) and Janie Coleman (Kevin); sisters-in-law, Gail Brooks and Vanessa Brooks and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Sherman Morgan and brothers, Ricky Brooks and Jesse Brooks.
Pallbearers will be Brent Robinson, Clint Robinson, Matt Wanner, Terry Brazier, Blake Nix and Levi McNatt. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Williams, Moe Wright, Cabe Dillard, Jimmy Smith and Evan Robinson.
