Mr. Tommy Lee Allen, 64, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence. A life-long resident of the area, he was retired from the Franklin County School System Bus Barn with over twenty-five years of service and was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Cotton Flat Cruisers.
Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services will begin in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 P.M. with Stanley Hargett officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Russellville. Pallbearers will include Michael Allen, Bryan Jones, Zac Kimbrough, Jimmy Green, Chad Green, and Chess Stockton. Honorary bearers will be Curtis Murray, Johnny Willis, and Dale McCann.
Surviving Mr. Allen are his daughter Melanie Ward and husband Duncan; brother, Gary Allen and wife Kaye; sister, Regina Jones and husband Bo; grandson, Jake Allen Ward and wife Kendra; and nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleatis and Virginia Fisher Allen.
