Tommy Gene “Tom” Smith, 79, died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS to Jack K. and Estella Wigginton Smith. He was a construction superintendent with Burton Builders.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 13, 11 a.m. at Belmont Memory Gardens, Belmont, MS with Brian K. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years – Colleen Smith, Dennis, MS; one son – Brian K. Smith (Heather) Starkville, MS; one brother – Bob Smith (Betty) Red Bay, AL; one sister – Judy Randolph, Tupelo, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Louise Thompson and Mavis Dickens.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 10-11 a.m. at Belmont Memory Gardens.
