Tommie “Bulldog” Waits, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, fork lift operator at Murray Ohio for 33 years, and a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. Mr. Waits served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Paschal and Louannie Berthine Miller Waits; two brothers and five sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 25, 2016, with Randy Keene officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors. Family suggests memorials be made to Summertown High School.
