Funeral for Deputy Tom Cross, 59, of Moulton will be Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Honors rendered by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s department. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Deputy Cross, who died Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at his residence, was born May 1, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Bob Cross and Verna Radcliffe. He was a deputy for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s department. He enjoyed paintball, cooking, playing Xbox and playing with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Cross; one son, Eric Cross (Aarica); one daughter, Tina Smith (Bobby); mother, Verna Radcliffe; father, Bob Cross; stepmother, Lorraine Cross; three brothers, Randy Cross (Anna), Ted Cross (Kathy) and Shawn Cross (Becky); seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Cross, Adan Odell, Harold Knighton, Steve Fry, Ashley Bowling and Lagnuel McCord.
