Mr. Tom Allen “Butch” Glover, age 73, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026. He was the son of Floyd and Irene Glover and was born in Vallejo, California on July 2, 1953.
Tom was a construction supervisor with Lu Inc Construction Company for 40 years and enjoyed retirement since 2022. A voracious Minnesota Vikings fan, he could be found watching his beloved team on any given Sunday. He is described as “liking his children and loving the Vikings”. Additionally, he enjoyed playing cards on his computer and “doing Dad Stuff”.
Tom is survived by his sons Trever Glover of Smyrna, TN and Troy Glover of Kingston Springs, TN, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Glover; daughter, Trisha Frank; brother, Darryl Glover; and sister, Melody Bailey, and parents, Floyd and Irene Glover.
Visitation for Mr. Glover will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 am at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with burial following at Mapleview Cemetery.
