Funeral service for Timothy William Austin, age 52, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Gibson and Rev. Harold Fanning officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Austin, who died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at his residence, was born October 16, 1960, in Morgan County, to William Austin and Clara Horn Austin.
Mr. Austin is preceded by his mother Clara Horn Austin, brother Steve Ward and His daughter Ashley Austin.
He is survived by his wife Pam Austin, two sons, Brad Austin (Natalie)of Springhill, TN and Justin Austin of Clayton, AL., father, William Austin and Step-mother Mary Hall Austin of Rome, GA, In-laws Wayne and Margie Thomas of Decatur, two brothers Stanley Austin (Harriet) of Somerville, AL and Rusty Austin of Joplin, MO., two sisters Carol Montgomery of Decatur and Mary White (Jerry) of Madison, AL. and Seven grandchildren Ava Austin, Kinsley Austin, Justin Paul Austin, Bryson Terry, Lydia Terry, Jaylan Austin and Vivian Terry.
Pallbearers will be Danny Davis, Doug Hall, Blair Gatlin, Daniel Gatlin, Chris Chandler, and Jon-Mark Nelson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Justin Austin, Brad Austin, Justin-Paul Austin and Bryson Terry.
