Timothy “Tim” Dwyight Barnett, age 47 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital. He was a graduate of Phillips High School and University of Alabama where he played football and was part of the 1992 National Championship football team.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Graveside service will be Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitehouse Cemetery with Vance Hutton officiating.
Tim is survived by his mother, Willow Dean Barnett; daughters, Savanah and Mary Grace Barnett; siblings, Bill (Pearlene) Barnett, Sam (Delene) Barnett and Linda Mays; nieces & nephews, B.J. Barnett, Lisa (Matthew) Mitchell, Bret (Amy) Barnett, Jennifer (Blue) Russell, Amy (Nick) Vandiver, Angelia (Joel) Burcham, Hannah Barnett and Amber Barnett; great nieces & nephews, Aiden & Kylee Barnett, Eli & Ben Mitchell, Wyatt Russell, Alaina Burcham, Joshua (Lillie) Burcham, Mazie and Macon Vandiver; and dear friend, Sharon Mann Boshell.
He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Barnett; and brother, Anthony Barnett.
