Timothy Ray “Tim” Merrell, 66, formerly of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Pulaski, Tennessee. He was born November 14, 1957 to Elden Ray Merrell and Gertrude Louise Crabtree Merrell in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
“Tim” was a 1976 graduate of Ardmore High School, had a bachelors degree from Murfreesboro MTSU, a Doctorate of Podiatry Degree from the Medical University of Des Moines and did a residency at the Mountain Home VA in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Ardmore.
“Tim” was preceded in death by his mother; and granddaughter, Faith Ann Henson.
He is survived by his father, Elden Merrell; son, James Blake (Cassie) Merrell; daughter, Erin Rae (Eric) Henson; brothers, Tracy (Christina) Merrell, Murray Trent Merrell, and Robert Franklin (Marjorie) Gore; sister, Melissa Dawn (Scott) Manerville; aunt, Lynn Hefner; uncle, Ronnie Crabtree; grandchildren, Somer, Braeden, Reagan, Rylee, Beau, and Sutherlyn; along with extended family and friends.
There will be a Graveside Funeral Service Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama.
