Timothy Lee “Butch” Smith, age 56, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, 6-8, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
He was a Tuscumbia native was baptized in the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ray Smith Sr. and sister, Susan Nesbitt Horton.
He is survived by his mother, Bobbi Bell Smith, of Tuscumbia; brothers, Jimmy Ray “Arkie” Smith (Debbie) and Michael Trevor Smith, both of Tuscumbia; uncle, Alfred Lee Smith (Sarah), of Tuscumbia; aunt, Jo Ann Thompson (Bobby Gill), of Sheffield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
