Funeral service for Timothy Glen Gladney, age 47, of Boiling Springs, SC (formerly of Athens), will be Saturday, July 12, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Sempsrott officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gladney, who died Monday, July 7, 2014, at his residence, was born August 30, 1966, in Athens, to Harold Glen Gladney and Evelyn Jackson Gladney.
He is survived by two daughters, Cassidy Gladney and Courtney Gladney, both of Mulberry, FL; his mother, Evelyn Davis (Sammy) of Decatur; three brothers, Faron Davis of Decatur, Eric Davis of Moulton, and Brett Gladney of Tampa, FL; and his partner of ten years, Brenda Morton of Boiling Springs, SC.
Pallbearers will be Faron Davis, Eric Davis, Brett Gladney, Keith Thomas, Bryan Thomas, and Andy Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Grace River Community Church Building Fund, 2018 Cleveland Avenue, S.W., Decatur, AL 35603.
