Timothy Eugene Wright was born April 10, 1967 in Florence, AL to his parents Mr. Kenneth Wright and Mrs. Jeanette Risner Wright. Timothy or “Tim” as his friends affectionally called him, spent his childhood in the Collinwood area, surrounded by nature God has created. He learned to love the outdoors, a passion that would follow him throughout his life. He attended school in Collinwood and would graduate from Collinwood High the Class of 1985. He being a hard worker and excellent provider, would find his occupation in Carpentry belonging to the local Carpenters Union 1209 in Florence, AL. Later in his life, he would meet and marry Kimberly Andrews and the two would marry on May 01, 2010 and would remain married until his passing. Mr. Wright was a member of the Collinwood Church of God and would rise in the church to attain the prestigious position of Elder, a work he was extremely proud to perform and a title he worked diligently to live up to. In his leisure time he enjoyed deer hunting, turkey hunting and watching the TN Vols play ball; but nothing compared to the joy he felt when he spent time with his grandchildren. His family was his priority in life only second to his relationship with God. Mr. Timothy Eugene Wright passed from this life to attain his heavenly home on April 06, 2025 in Nashville, TN surrounded by his wife and family making his stay on this earth some 57 years.
In addition to his parents Mr. Kenneth Wright and Mrs. Jeanette Wright, those left to honor his memory are his wife Kimberly Wright of Cypress Inn, TN; children Chase Wright of Cypress Inn, TN, Tommy Brewer and wife Chelsi of Iron City, TN, and Jessica Bryant husband Clint of Waynesboro, TN; brother Michael Wright and wife Diane of Collinwood, TN; beloved grandchildren Colt Bryant, Braxton Bryant, Emma Bryant, Richard Brewer and Rowan Brewer, as well as many other family members, friends, church family and loved ones.
Funeral Services for Mr. Tim Wright will be held Friday April 11, 2025 at the Collinwood Church of God at 3:00 pm with Pastor Nelson Moffett officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN.
Visitation with the Wright family will begin Thursday April 10, 2025 at the Collinwood Church of God from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and again on Friday April 11, 2025 from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm service time.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Anthony Holt, Jeff Daniels, Chris Harrell, David Rochell, Shane Risner and Jamey Ayers.
Honorary pallbearers include Ricky Berry, Paul Pigg, Greg Stults and Doug Swanson.
