Timothy Byron Steen, 37, passed away July 29, 2021. Tim was an adventurer at heart. He loved to travel and was blessed to get his dream job at Delta Airlines based in New York. His job allowed him to explore the world traveling to such places as South America, Africa, and many spots in Europe. He was an avid hiker enjoying the outdoors in the many places he went as well as walking the urban landscapes of beautiful cities around the world. His family and friends will cherish the memory of happy times spent traveling and exploring with Tim. Tim also enjoyed reading and always had a good mystery or fantasy book close at hand. He loved his family and his little dog Bowzer, and made many trips home to maintain the family bonds.
Tim will be forever missed by his mother, Christine Teague; father, Bill Steen; sister, Rachel Allen and brother-in-law Mike Allen; brothers, John Steen and sister-in-law Delilah Steen and Josh Steen; stepsister, Rachel Fluker; stepbrother, Michael Teague; nephews, Gabe, Carter, Trevor and Ari; niece, Evelyn; and many wonderful friends, especially longtime friend Terrance Brown.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, August 6 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor John Tanner officiating.
