Timothy Walker McMeans, age 72, of Cullman, Alabama died 5/21/20 at home. Tim was born November 29, 1947, in Cullman to Charles Royce and Janette Walker McMeans. He was a graduate of Cullman High School and a graduate of Auburn University. Tim had a 40 year career in Real Estate as an agent, and as a Residential Broker and Certified Residential Appraiser. He was a Broker for Doyle Real Estate in Cullman most of his career. Tim was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cullman all his life. He served as Vice President of the Cullman Realtor Association and in 1979 he served as President. Tim served on the Cullman County Chamber of Commerce and he served on the Cullman City Industrial Development Board for 18 years. He was a Life Member of the Elks Lodge in Cullman and served as Treasurer for 21 years. Tim loved his Auburn Tigers. He was a member of the Auburn University Samford Society, a member of the Auburn University James E. Foy Loyalty Society, the Foy Society’s Cater Circle and the Tigers Unlimited. He also had been a member of the Cullman County Auburn Club. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was preceded in deathby his son Shane McMeans. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa D’Antonio of Madison, Al., (Jay Gibson), daughter-in-law Didi McMeans of Birmingham, and 3 grandchildren he adored; Cooper McMeans, Jarrett McMeans and Mary Grace D’Antonio, brother Chuck McMeans of Cullman, sister Susan McPhillips (Warren) of Atlanta, Ga and brother John McMeans (Melinda) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he dearly loved. His Graveside Service will be held at the Cullman City Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed on Moss Service Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
