Tim David Knight passed away unexpectedly in his home on 7/1/2025. Tim was born on October 3 1970. Tim loved animals especially his two puppies Fatback and Bandit. Tim was a dedicated and loving pet owner. Tim graduated Albertville High School in 1988 and Jacksonville State University in 1992 where he majored in Accounting. Tim was a recovering alcoholic. Tim was nine years sober and other than his love of God and his beloved pets his primary focus was to help others achieve sobriety. No matter what else he had going on, helping others was extremely important to him. He was a lifelong Alabama fan. Tim had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for his funny southern sayings. Tim loved his niece and nephews and his Christmas presents to them when they were little were always their favorite gifts.
Tim is survived by his Father, Ralph Knight and His sister Rachel Knight Bryant (Tommy). Nephews Matthew Lee Taylor (Molly), Christopher Cole Storie and Niece Anna Garrett (Matthew). Great Nieces Eloise Garrett and Adelaide Storie and Great Nephew, Flynn. Tim is also survived by several cousins on the Maternal and Paternal side of the family. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Kivette Knight, Sister, Nicole Knight, and Grandparents Dinie and John Knight and Ruby and Odell Lynn.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Memory Hill Cemetery. in lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that you make a donation to The Humane Society. The family would like to thank Albertville Memorial Chapel and Bro. Mike Williamson of Brashers Chapel Church.
