Tilmon Eras Hamm

 Tilmon Eras Hamm, 94, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS.  He was born in Colbert County, AL to William Chester and Ollie Pearl Upton Hamm.  He was a truck driver for many years and attended Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of the US Army.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 21, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Roger Wood and Bro. Terry Bloom officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, 11-1 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Prestage (Quint Flangstaff) and Marcia Bloom (Terry); grandchildren, Kyle Prestage (Kate), Clint Prestage, Nathan Bloom (Valerie), Bethany Graesslin (Kyle), Micah Bloom (Jasmine) and Jason Bloom; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Berdie Kent and Christine Hamm and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hamm and two sisters, Mildred Petty (Noonan) and Willa Faye Pearson (Price).

Pallbearers will be Nathan Bloom, Micah Bloom, Jason Bloom, Kyle Prestage, Clint Prestage, Faron Kent and Tommy White.
