Thurman C. Hill, Sr., 81, Littleville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hill was a native of Franklin County, but had lived in Colbert County for over 40 years. He served in the Navy, was a member of Littleville Masonic Lodge #881 and a retired truck driver.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 24, 2013, 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Ricky Corbel officiating. Burial will be Colbert Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his children, Sheila Woodruff, Sabrina Tippett, both of Littleville; Thurman C. (Butch) Hill, Jr., Muscle Shoals; sister, Jo Evelyn Hill, New Jersey; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wildar R. Hill; parents, Tom and Lora Hill.
