FLORENCE-Thrive Alabama invites the community to an open house highlighting new medical services now offered at their Florence location. The event is Wednesday, June 21, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 112 South Pine St.

Expanded services include:

  • Sexually transmitted infection treatment
  • PrEP, a once-daily pill that protects HIV-negative people from becoming infected

Thrive has been providing HIV care for over a decade in the Shoals, but these new services open care to a wider population of people who do not have HIV.

There will be tours of the clinic and a meet and greet with the Thrive Alabama staff, including new nurse practitioner Victoria M. Casson.  Food and beverages will be on hand.
