Three counts of rape added to charges against Russellville man

RUSSELLVILLE -Gaspar Perez-Bartolo, 26 of Russellville has three counts of rape in addition to the charges of burglary second-degree and attempted rape first-degree.

Perez-Bartolo was charged initially  with the burglary and attempted rape charge after authorities accused him of breaking into a 12 year old girl’s bedroom and demanding she remove her clothes . Investigators said the girl fought with the suspect, drawing the attention of a family member who was able to scare him away.

After his arrest the victim told investigators that Perez-Bartolo had raped her on three other separate occasions.

Perez-Bartolo is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail on a bond of $150,000.00.
