Vickie Goode age 50, her son age 21, and Timothy Gordon age 51 were arrested on Sunday, March 20.  All were charged with assault 2nd degree.  Gordon was also charged with reckless endangerment.

Deputies arrived at a home on Brownsferry Road in response to a call about a fight at the home.  When the deputies  arrived the victim alleged Justine Goode punched and kicked him.  He also claimed Goode beat him with a brick and a shovel, then tried to hold his head underwater.

The victim was slapped by Vickie Goode who also punched him and cursed him telling him

“he had  ****** with the wrong family”.  Gordon was said to have slammed the victim’s head into the concrete and then fired shots at him.

Evidence collected at the scene included six spent shell casings and a broken shovel handle.

The victim was taken to Athens Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

It was claimed by two of the three suspects that the victim had planted evidence to have Justine Goode arrested on drug charges at a different address earlier on Sunday.

Justin Goode remains in the Limestone County Jail. While Vickie Goode and Timothy Gordon have been released on bond.

This case is under investigation by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office.
