Mr. Thomas Wayne Davis Sr. was born on August 25, 1949 to his parents the late Mr. Cladis Brown Davis and Mrs. Adrilla Leona Holt Davis. He was a native of Wayne County TN and lived in the Waynesboro area. Mr. Davis spent his adult life he being a hard worker drove Semi Trucks for over 50 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed a quiet life drinking coffee at home and watching westerns. However, nothing compared to the time he spent with his family and friends. Mr. Thomas Wayne Davis Sr. passed from this life on June 01, 2025 making his stay on this earth some 75 years, 9 months and seven days.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Christopher Fredrick Davis of Park City, KY and Thomas Wayne Davis Jr. of Biloxi, MS; sister Brenda Sue D. Hebert of Conway, AR; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; niece Linda Sue Stutts of Paducah, KY and several nieces and nephews; as well as many other friends and loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Linda Lou Davis, Sally Ann Tamez and Leo Brown Davis.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 03, 2025 at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC chapel in Waynesboro, TN at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow immediately after chapel services in the Worley Cemetery.
Visitation with the Davis family will begin June 03, 2025 at 10:00 am till 1:00 pm service time at the Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC Chapel.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Charles Tatum, Austin Gambrell, Jackie Garrett, Michael Love, Damien Staggs, Bubby Jay and Andrew Reynolds.
